Description
I've kept bees before but never in a place like this. The South Fork of the Shoshone river valley, just outside Cody, Wyoming, wildflower meadows, fresh mountain water, wildlife everywhere. Beautiful country. But this is grizzly territory, and grizzlies love bees even more than I do.
My first season keeping bees in this valley turned out to be about so much more than just honey. The wildlife, the seasons changing, the mountains, I started this for the bees but ended up watching nature put on a show I never expected.
Let's just say... the bees weren't the only ones with surprises.
