The aim of this video is to offer some of the many techniques to carry out improved SRT rescues as required within the BCA Cave Instructor Certificate scheme.
The video is intended to supplement CIC training.
Never underestimate how difficult SRT rescue is, especially without a spare rope to help you. If in doubt DO NOT risk yourself or the casualty. Get help instead!
Anyone undertaking these techniques does so at their own risk.
