Indian Banks' Association (IBA) has issued a new circular dated 2 November 2026 regarding Dearness Allowance (DA) for bank employees and officers for the period November 2026, December 2026 and January 2027.
As per the latest IBA circular, the Dearness Allowance (DA) has been fixed at 66.36% of Pay under the 11th Bipartite Settlement / 8th Joint Note.

The average CPI for the quarter ended September 2026 was calculated at 10,147.85, resulting in an increase of 57 DA slabs.
📌 WHO IS COVERED UNDER THIS CIRCULAR?
This circular is addressed to member banks that are yet to implement the 12th Bipartite Settlement / 9th Joint Note dated 08 March 2024 for designated officers. The DA rate mentioned is based on the 11th Bipartite Settlement / 8th Joint Note dated 11 November 2020.
