Applying pomade. On wet or dry hair?

So many options of hair styling agents.
Let’s talk pomades for a moment.
Most all pomades are recommended to be applied on dry hair for best performance. But! Some pomades can be applied on wet hair.

Oil base pomades are recommended for dry hair application. Some water base pomades have exceptions and can be applied on both wet and dry hair.
