Description
Apollo 15 - The entire Day 3 communications audio between the crew and Mission Control.
After wake up the crew have the morning news read to them by Capcom Joe Allen - followed by extensive flight plan changes. The crew have breakfast and then conduct the Light flash experiment in a darkened spacecraft to see how many light streaks they can "see" - these cosmic rays had been reported by other crews.
There is time set aside to test the mapping camera in the SIMBay and for Ultra Violet photography of the Earth.
The crew then have issues with the water system leaking into the spacecraft! The end of day 3 arrives with goodnight from the crew and PAO reporting on the hour as the crew sleep in preparation for the lunar orbit activities expected on Day 4.
