I hope you enjoy this preview scene of the Rebellion's council meeting, discussing intel about the Death Star and its plans, in my upcoming fan edit, 'Rogue One: The Andor Cut', releasing May 25th, 2026.
I have replaced the original film's score with music from the Andor series soundtrack, particularly the track titled "Luthen...", that plays during Luthen's final scene in 'Andor' Season 2. I have chosen this track because while the characters do not mention Luthen in this scene, his presence is felt, as he was hugely instrumental in assembling this Alliance, and bringing the initial news of the Empire's new super weapon. The tension of this musical piece also dramatically fits the grittier tone that this edit is going for, as opposed to the more optimistic and "heroic" sounding theme in the original scene. Similar rescoring will be done throughout multiple scenes and sequences throughout the edit, while many of the original themes and motifs from Michael Giacchino will still remain.

'Rogue One: The Andor Cut' sets out to re-envision 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' as the finale of the Andor series, as if it had been made afterwards. Musical themes and leitmotifs from the show will appear, a few continuity errors will be removed, pertinent flashbacks will be inserted, and the tone will be more in line with what we have grown accustomed to from the two incredible seasons. It also includes fan-made deepfake renders of Grand Moff Tarkin and Princess Leia, courtesy of @Shamook, that many consider to be visually superior to the original 2016 CGI endeavors.
