Description
'Something Changed My Mind' was mostly recorded at Abbey Road Studios (Studio 2) and features Al Ross & The Planets together with British Blues legend Norman Beaker and Lyndon J Connah, one of the UK’s most talented and highly respected session musicians. The Hammond organ at Abbey Road Studios was the same one used by Pink Floyd on 'Dark Side of the Moon' and by The Beatles on the 'Abbey Road' album.
Al Ross: "We are all fans of The Band's 1968 Masterpiece 'Music From The Big Pink'. This was the inspiration for us to create an Americana-sounding track with a catchy melody and chorus, three part harmonies, bluesy guitar and a killer piano solo, and this is the result! Recording at Studio 2 Abbey Road always makes us think of The Beatles, so in homage to them, we sang some nice harmonies, and to top it all off we managed to get one of the greatest living British Blues guitarists to play on the track!"
