A tiny yellow duck made from pipe cleaners, sitting right there on your desk like it belongs.
That's the thing about this one — it takes almost nothing to make, but once it's done, you won't want to move it. Ducks have a way of doing that. They're not serious. They don't ask anything of you. They just sit there looking pleased with themselves, and somehow that's exactly what you needed.
This little guy comes together using yellow and orange chenille stems — no special tools, no prior experience. The steps are slow and satisfying: each twist clicks into place, the small beak folds just right, and at some point you look up and there's a duck. It's a beginner-friendly pipe cleaner craft that takes about 15–20 minutes, which is a good amount of time to spend on something that has absolutely no deadline.
