There's an abandoned boat graveyard located in the Kawara neighborhood of Ichikawa city in Chiba prefecture. These boats have long been abandoned and left to deteriorate in the elements. They've been around for decades.
It was simply too expensive to repair or maintain boats by the owners so they just left them here. The Ichikawa city government knows about this place and has said they would do something to clean it up and remove the boats, but it's very costly and years have gone by without anything being done about it.
This location is about a 15 - 20 minute walk from Myoden Station on the Tozai Line.
