🏔️ Welcome back to our Zanskar Overlanding Adventure!
After surviving freezing nights, snow-covered passes, and a snowstorm, our journey continues towards one of the most breathtaking places in the Indian Himalayas — Drang Drung Glacier and Pensi La Pass.
Starting our day from Padum, we drive through the stunning Suru Valley, where every turn reveals a completely new landscape. Snow-capped mountains, colourful valleys, crystal-clear streams, and endless Himalayan views make this one of the most scenic drives in India.
Our destination is the magnificent Drang Drung Glacier — one of the largest and most accessible glaciers in Ladakh. Standing in front of this massive river of ice is an experience that words can barely describe.
We also explore the iconic Pensi La Pass, the gateway between Zanskar and Suru Valley, home to the beautiful twin alpine lakes and some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the Himalayas.
This journey has been much more than just a road trip.
Camping at -9°C, crossing Shinkula Pass, facing snowstorms, adapting to changing weather, and exploring some of India's most remote regions have taught us that adventure is not about comfort—it is about experiences that stay with you forever.
