One of my favorite topics I cover on this channel is ‘The PERFECT Vlogging Setup’..
Vlogging setups are fun because they are ever-changing and everyone has different needs, budgets, and opinions about it.
It’s like a dynamic puzzle we are always trying to put together!
Here are the most important puzzle pieces in building a great vlogging setup (in order of necessity)
✨ Camera w/ flip-out screen
✨ Lens wide enough for a front-facing shot
✨ Knowledge of camera settings
✨ ND filter if want to utilize a large aperture lens (you do)
✨ Mic (wireless or mounted)
✨ Grip or Gimbal (grip is easy, but gimbal is better)
✨ Fill in Light (nice, but not necessary)
✨ Friend who will tolerate you vlogging!
This setup isn’t the best of the best, but it’s a quick and easy one I sometimes grab to capture moments with my sweet girl.
