Description
The creation of the tie clip was relatively simple: the client wanted to incorporate part of a stick pin that held sentimental value. I then designed a shape that would harmoniously suit the subject — a small gold bird — enhancing its emotional significance.
All the steps to make the tie clip with laser cutting and laser welding can also be done using traditional methods, such as using a fret saw and flame welding.
