15 years later, and it still blows my mind

Description

To me, he was never ‘Zyzz’ he was my little brother, Az. The kid I grew up with, laughed with, fought with, and loved.

But to millions around the world, he became something much bigger. He inspired people to step into a gym for the first time, build confidence, chase self-improvement, and become the best versions of themselves.

Seeing Gareth Emery, Az’s favourite artist, pay tribute to him at the Hyperdome in Sydney on June 6 brought a flood of emotions. Pride. Joy. Sadness. Gratitude. All at the same time.
It’s hard to put into words what it means to see his legacy continue to live on, not just through me, but through every single one of you who has followed and supported our journey throughout his life and after his passing.
Az may be gone, but his message, his energy, and the impact he had on the world are still alive today.

Thank you Gareth for such a beautiful tribute. And thank you to everyone who continues to keep his memory alive.

I promise to carry that legacy forward for as long as I live.

Forever missed. Never forgotten.
