"Safe Travels,' the third studio album from Brooklyn power poppers Jukebox the Ghost, came out 14 years ago today. According to the Tommy Siegel, the goal of the album was to portray its themes of "death and mortality in general and break-ups" in a "more positive light." With lead single "Somebody" the band swung with big hooks and crescendos while later album tracks "Adulthood" and "The Spiritual" deal with the more anthemic, expressive side of things.
