11minLoop - Demo Track for The Rock - Theme That Builds With Groove

Description

The theme from this demo track wasn't used in the film, but it rocks the same vibes. I want to say it's a Nick Glennie-Smith theme, for reasons, but being sort of a hymn, Harry Gregson-Williams could have easily written it. Regardless, it's got Hans Zimmer flourishes because it rocks a groove that screams "Crimson Tide." Probably why they moved away from this theme.

The three middle pictures are relatively recent photos of (left to right) Nick Glennie-Smith, Hans Zimmer, and Harry Gregson-Williams.

I made this loop 2 months ago. I've been listening to this loop on loop for 2 months!! (Not 24/7 okay?!) Just thought I'd share it with you. :-) I made a mix with this loop transitioning into my Crimson Tide loop, but I prefer just this loop alone.

This is sort of a teaser trailer for what might be my next upload: a suite consisting of demo tracks from The Rock and finished tracks from a recently discovered score I found by the same author(s)!! Stay tuned!!

Fun Fact: Michael Bay said he'd listen to the Crimson Tide soundtrack while filming The Rock. Probably something he picked up shooting music videos. Hans Zimmer scored Crimson Tide, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (producer of The Rock), so it would seem Michael Bay and Jerry knew who'd they'd be getting to score the movie!!
