The Animation Workshop

Short short project: Beaks Beaks, there is one for everyone! In a modern city inhabited by birds, a boutique just opened with a brand-new concept. Now you can experience beaks from all over the world. Sunny - a young and curious kid, walks into the store fascinated by the concept and wishes to try some on!

The store owner, Sir Tytus Clawdius, is excited to introduce a customer to his treasured collection and puts on a show for the small bird. He lets Sunny try on all the beaks he has in stock but gets a little carried away… Will she end up with a flamboyant flare, a proud prettiness or something third?

About the Short, Short film project Beaks is part of The Short, Short film project. They are created by teams of 1st year Bachelor in Animation students of Character Animators and CG Artists. Over the course of 5 weeks, the students create lighthearted films for a pre-school audience at the core of the story. They are assigned two specific styles to mash up, as well as a number of keywords to base the narrative on – ranging from colors and emotions to more complex concepts.
