At the shooting range capturing some muzzle flash from a Serbian Zastava PAP M92 AK pistol in 7.62x39. The unique muzzle signature comes from a Manticore Arms NightBrake compensator which works well for managing recoil on AK pistols.

The PAP M92 is a Krinkov-style AK pistol with a standard 1.0 mm stamped receiver and 10" barrel. The Yugo style surplus handguards are in good shape and have no finish or sealer, which makes for a good small project. Aftermarket replacement picatinny railed upper and lower handguards are available and come at a reasonable price.
The muzzle is threaded, with a 26x1.5 Left Hand Thread Pattern (M26x1.5LH). This thread pattern allows use of Krink or AK74 style Bulgarian brakes which are popular on the market. If you would prefer a standard AKM brake with the 14x1 LH Thread, you can buy an adapter which sizes down the 26x1.5LH to 14x1LH.

The PAP M92 pv pistol does have an integrated sling loop attachment in the left front side of the gas block/front sight block, but does not have a rear sling attachment. If you intend to keep the m92pv as a pistol, not making it a Short Barreled Rifle (SBR) and attaching a fixed or folding stock, you can use a AK Pistol End Plate Sling Adapter to attach a 2-point sling. This Sling Plate Adapter is installed between the pistol grip and receiver, and provides an attachment point off the rear of the ak pistol.
The Zastava line of firearms have become fairly popular in the US, being well built, with good finish, and at a reasonable market price. They offer a variation of akm's that we previously did not have available through other importers. The n-pap (7.62x39), n-papdf (underfolder), o-pap, m70b1, m70ab2, m92pv, and m85 (.223/5.56) variants have all proven to be excellent buys in the AK world.
