Consider Gideon, who was hiding from the Midianites, struggling to survive, when the angel of the Lord appeared and called him a mighty man of valor. Gideon could not see the victory that God had already prepared for him. With only 300 men, he faced an enemy army of thousands, but God gave him a supernatural victory. When God is on your side, don't worry about how many are on the other side. Great trials produce great victory!
Consider the three Hebrew children who refused to bow before King Nebuchadnezzar. They were thrown into a blazing furnace, but the God of Israel met them in the fire. They walked out without even the smell of smoke upon them! Consider Daniel, who was thrown into the lions' den because he refused to stop praying to the living God. The Lord sent His angel to shut the mouths of the lions, and Daniel emerged victorious. Listen! When you get in real trouble, God doesn't send someone. He shows up Himself! Whatever battle you are facing today, do not surrender to fear or despair. The God who delivered Gideon, the three Hebrew children, and Daniel is the same God who hears your prayers today. Our God can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or imagine. Be encouraged! Your victory is coming!
