🚗 Key DVSA Driving Test Weather Advice:
Rain & Wind: Driving tests almost always proceed in wet weather unless severe localized flooding makes the route impassable.
Thick Fog: If visibility drops below approximately 100 metres and road signs cannot be read clearly, tests are typically cancelled for safety.
Snow & Ice: If roads around the test centre or on test routes are iced over or covered in settled snow, examiners will not take candidates out.
Booking Tip: Try to book late morning or afternoon test slots (10:00 AM onward) so sunlight has time to thaw frost and clear morning fog.
