Share this with someone who loves drinking Coke! 🥤
Do you know Indians give Coca-Cola over ₹5,000 crore every single year?
To put that in perspective:
You could build over 1,000 fully equipped government schools with that money.
Instead, it goes to a company selling us carbonated water, 20 teaspoons of sugar, and a handful of lab chemicals – in a single bottle.
And this number grows. Every year. Without fail.
The most profitable businesses in the world are the ones selling you the least – for the most.
Now you know what’s inside.
So, choose accordingly.
Homemade Cola Recipe (Orange Version)
Ingredients:
• 2 cups water
• ¼ cup jaggery powder
• ½ teaspoon orange zest
• ¼ teaspoon vanilla powder
• ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder
• ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg powder
• ¼ cup orange juice
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• ½ teaspoon activated charcoal
• ⅛ teaspoon black salt
Method:
1. Heat a pot and add the water and jaggery powder. Cook on high flame until the mixture comes to a boil.
2. Reduce the flame to low and add the orange zest, vanilla powder, cinnamon powder, and nutmeg powder. Simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Switch off the flame and add the orange juice, lemon juice, activated charcoal, and black salt. Mix well.
4. Strain the mixture and allow it to cool to room temperature.
5. Refrigerate until chilled. Serve cold, with a few ice cubes if desired.
Note:
• Activated charcoal is used only to recreate the dark colour of cola. We do not recommend consuming it regularly, and it should only be used occasionally.
• This recipe is not intended to taste exactly like Coca-Cola. Instead, it offers a healthier, refreshing alternative inspired by the flavour profile.
