New to Xcode? This beginner walkthrough will get you set up and comfortable with the development environment you'll use to build iPhone apps.
We'll install and configure Xcode 27, create a project, look at the major areas of the interface, use the SwiftUI Canvas, run an app in the iPhone Simulator, and look at how Xcode's AI tools can help while you're learning.
You do not need to learn every Xcode button before you start coding. I'll focus on the parts you actually need, and we'll learn the rest as we use them.
