a little bit of reyansh and shura 🔥backstory🔥 (sort of) their entire deal is basically 'the prince i was tasked to harm ended becoming the person that i ended up protecting'; because in the lore, ever since shura was a kid he was tasked by his family to always spy and even k*ll the prince, but ended up meeting the queen on her very last days and she had told him that she entrust her son's safety to him. He became so CONFUSED and flee the palace and never returning home to his family, choosing to forge his own path as an alchemist. Faith played a cruel twist of fate though, when the object of his responsibilities finally spawned back again into his life, now that they're both older, he has no choice but to hear the exiled prince out on his quest
