Description
Why did the army paint the floor pink and make recruits walk across it?
Flat feet were once seen as a serious problem for soldiers who had to march for miles under heavy gear. So recruiting officers used a simple footprint test. A visible arch meant SELECTED. A flat print meant REJECTED.
