Why Ital Tek uses his acoustic guitar as a 'snare': "It's got so many different tones to it"

Over the course of two decades and eight albums for Planet Mu, Ital Tek's music has evolved from atmospheric dubstep to a more cinematic, dark ambient sound. His latest record, Mind Abandon, is rich with complex sound design, drawing on processed synths, found sounds and his own voice, all reshaped through sampling and creative effects.
