Description
In the video I have quickly edited 2 clips of myself and a friend testing the aiming mechanics in BODYCAM and have come to the conclusion some players possess an unfair advantage despite playing the same as normal.
I will post another video with all my findings in detail
My findings
EARLY ACCESS TESTING 16.06.24 PLEASE UPVOTE TO GET THE DEVS ATTENTION ASAP
Through vigorous testing I have come to the conclusion that some players possess an very unfair advantage over other players when AIMING DOWN SIGHTS and don't say its a skill issue.
I have tested my Aim Down Sights (ADS) movement in comparison to a friends ADS and can finally prove that there is an error within the game, when it comes to static aiming and moving while aimed down sights.
You will clearly see that while aiming at a walking and running enemy my POV is completely different (BOTTOM), my friend has a clear sight picture when moving his weapon and his aim is relatively stable, meanwhile, mine is out of focus, not tracking the sights at all, often skips around, and appears to shift the point of aim from the muzzle end instead of shifting from the sights.
My opinion is that my FOV is definitely set further back than his despite having the exact same settings. We have the exact same settings, same logitech mouse model, same DPI, he plays in 2k and I play in 4k and have repeated the results with the all variables as close to the same as possible.
I enjoy the game and its body cam style and how the aiming mechanics are MEANT to work, but I can say with confidence there is an issue and it needs to be immediately addressed because it is not working as intended.
Please share your opinions on how your game currently runs and if you have similar issues like in having. If you can replicate the result and manage to find a work around also contribute to this thread.
KEEP IN MIND WE ARE ALL EARLY ACCESS TESTERS AND SHOULD BE CONTRIBUTING TO THE GAME. FROSTY OUT
