Why 15 PSI is NOT the same on every tire. 🛞👇

Description

Most people think 15 PSI on a gauge means the exact same level of traction and carcass flex regardless of what you’re riding or driving.

Here’s what almost everyone misses: Sidewall thickness and ply rating completely change the math.

A stiff 10-ply or heavy carcass tire supports significant weight through the side wall itself, meaning 15 PSI won't give you nearly as much contact patch or footprint squat as a softer, flexible carcass tire at the exact same pressure.

If you're setting your pressures based strictly on a number rather than how your side wall actually flexes under load, you're missing out on traction and ride quality.

What tire setup are you running on the trail? Let's talk pressures in the comments! 👇
