Some places don’t just exist… they stay with you.
We travelled from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai on a beautifully guided day, beginning with a stop at the natural hot springs, where we boiled eggs in the steaming water. A simple, grounding moment before the day unfolded.
Then we arrived at the breathtaking White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) — an artist’s vision of heaven and hell, where every detail tells a story. Walking through it felt surreal… almost like stepping into another world, somewhere between light and shadow, beauty and meaning.
From there, we visited the Black House Museum (Baan Dam), a striking contrast in tone and texture — dark, powerful, and deeply expressive. The grounds, the artwork, even the smallest details invited us to slow down, observe, and feel.
In between, there were moments of lightness — stroking cats in the sun, tasting local foods and sweet delicacies, laughing, wandering, taking it all in.
And by the evening, we were back in Chiang Mai — music playing, drinks flowing, the day gently closing with a live band and that quiet feeling of having experienced something unforgettable.
This was more than a day trip… it was a journey through contrast, culture, and emotion.
