Some days are about the journey just as much as the destination.
We said a slow, peaceful goodbye to Chiang Mai, waking up for one last morning at the beautiful hotel — a place that had become a calm little sanctuary, with monks passing through and that quiet, grounding energy we’d grown used to.
After breakfast, it was time to travel.
Airports, delays, waiting around… and of course, the slightly chaotic, funny moments that come with it. The kind of in-between time where nothing is really happening, but somehow everything is.
And then — Phuket.
That first glimpse of a new place, the shift in energy, the feeling of arriving somewhere completely different. We checked into our hotel, had a quick look around, and headed straight out to Patong Beach, ending the day by the sea as the light softened.
From stillness to movement… from mountains to ocean.
