Description
I was just telling my son that I learned how to whistle when I was a little kid. It was by accident from when I would talk with a lisp. When I would lisp, a whistle would slip from time to time. I remember my dad would discipline me for not learning properly to talk or to use the guitar the proper way. Eventually, I figured it out on my own and learned to play the guitar backwards (a right-handed guitar playing left-handed style )
.
But once I caught onto the pattern of why I was whistling and playing the guitar backwards, I started doing it on command. I told my son that I can control my whistling like I can control my vocal chords and that I can reach certain notes like I would with my voice but only with my whistling and that I would complement it by playing the guitar backwards too lol. His head spinned 😆
.
I also told my son that I learned everything by ear and that I don't read notes so I had to pick up all my knowledge of music by listening and whistling tunes. I also told him that once he picks up on something like this on his own too, maybe a weird talent or some sort or some unusual thing his body does, to not say it's weird or shame it...but that its an actual strength!
.
by the way name of song im whistling by @officialchrisisaak is "Wicked Game" 🙏🔥
