We’re proud to announce that Whistler Blackcomb will host the UCI Mountain Bike World Series beginning Fall 2026, continuing through 2028. For the first time ever, the world’s top downhill athletes will compete on our purpose-built 1199 trail during the UCI Downhill World Cup, taking place September 26–27, 2026.
Hosting an event of this caliber has long been part of our vision for the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. The 1199 trail was specifically designed for an elite-level competition, and we’re honoured to showcase it on the global stage. Our partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery will bring international visibility to the event, elevating the profile of local athletes, and spotlighting Western Canada as a premier destination for mountain biking.
Next September, we invite athletes, our community, and fans from around the world to join us in Whistler for an unforgettable experience!
