How does fear turn into outright rebellion against God?
After witnessing God's miraculous deliverance from Egypt, the Israelites faced a new challenge. Instead of trusting the God who had protected them, they accused Him of bringing them into the wilderness to die.
Their fear escalated into something far more serious. They wanted to appoint a new leader and return to Egypt.
They weren't simply questioning their circumstances. They were questioning God's character and rejecting His promises.
Even their memories of slavery became distorted as they imagined returning to the very place God had rescued them from.
**When fear replaces faith, we can begin to question the goodness of the God who has faithfully led us.**
