Adobe Substance 3D Designer 16.0 is here — and it's a big one. 🔥

This release is packed with features that open up entirely new creative workflows for material and texture artists. 👇

Shape Splatter v2: Scatter shapes with Poisson disc or uniform distributions, use 3D objects (including custom SDF shapes), and control placement with a density map. This is a game-changer for environment artists. Completed with a set of 3D SDF Nodes to build complex 3D shapes mathematically, directly inside function graphs.

Native OpenPBR Support: The OpenPBR Surface shading model is now the default in the 3D View, with dedicated shaders across all renderers.

Displacement Controls: A new pop-up in the 3D View toolbar gives you direct access to height scale, height level, and tessellation settings — no more back and forth in settings.
