Description

Ordinary love is a transaction. Bhakti is a transformation.
Bhakti is not an action. It is not going to the temple, doing puja, chanting mantras. Those can be expressions of bhakti, but they are not bhakti itself. Bhakti is not an emotion — emotions come and go like clouds. And bhakti is not an interaction — it is not about a relationship between ""me"" and ""God"" as two separate things.

Bhakti is the recognition that the lover and the Beloved are one.
When you love the pure Being — the simple fact ""I am"" — that love is Atma. That love is divine. You are not loving someone outside. You are loving the very existence that you are.

Ordinary love divides: ""I love you, not him."" Bhakti unites: ""I am That. All is That. Love flows because That is all there is.""
