What does meaningful family engagement really look like?

Descrizione

The Transformative Engagement Alliance (TEA) was a 12 month collaborative project focused on improving how schools communicate and partner with families of neurodivergent and disabled students.
After a year of listening, learning, and building alongside families and students, TEA created the Family Partnership Award to put those values into practice.

Congratulations to Simon Rivera High School, the first-ever recipient. The school was recognized for the ways it supports students and families beyond academics and for its strong commitment to disability inclusion.

Through integrated programs, accessible communication, and meaningful family and community engagement, the school brings students with and without disabilities together to help them achieve goals in the classroom and beyond.
