Are you interested in or new to tech? Are you looking for a career change into tech? Join us to hear from Taryn Borba, who started her tech journey in February 2022 and learn how she is navigating her new passion for web development.
You will not need any equipment for this session. However, you may bring a laptop if you'd like to explore various sites as they are discussed and/or something for note taking should you choose to investigate resources at a later time.

[About the Speaker]
Taryn Borba is a web developer and parent to twin toddlers. She started her tech journey in February 2022 by taking a Bitwise Workforce Training course. Since then she has completed all four courses they offer: Websites for Beginners (HTML, CSS); Mobile-Friendly Websites (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap); JavaScript; React. Check out her portfolio.
Prior to starting her tech journey, Taryn was an Accounting Manager with a focus on Grower Accounting and Accounts Payable. Taryn graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Accounting concentration.
