Today, October 15th, is pregnancy and infant loss Remembrance Day. This picture was taken on April 8th, 2024.
Our sweet babe was with us for 8 weeks before they went to be with Jesus and their other two sweet baby siblings in heaven.
We’re so thankful for our rainbow baby, but even with the joy of new life, loss is a devastating thing to have to journey through. The deep sorrow and grief and feelings of your body just not being enough (which isn't the case AT ALL but I remember clearly feeling as if my body had failed) can be overwhelming.
It can also be lonely and really isolating. If you ever need to talk to someone who has had to navigate the murky waters of miscarriage, please feel free to reach out to me or others that you know have walked this path.
I have several helpful book recommendations too. You do not have to go through it all alone. Because you are very much not alone. 🤍
Tonight I will be lighting a candle for my babies that are with Jesus and several of my dear friend's babies.
