First of all, I want to say that we love our old house. It's been a dream to live there and it fit us like a glove for a very long time. It was exactly the right size for us when we both commuted into an office. However, now that we both work from home (and likely will, in some capacity, for the foreseeable future) and eventually want to start a family, we wanted a little more breathing room.
I noted this but likely need to elaborate in some kind of "what kind of minimalist am I?" video, but I do not have any plans to stop practicing my flavor of minimalism and buy a bunch of crap. In fact, we're moved in (I will share that video soon) and, other than an awesome Dyson vacuum that my aunt gifted us, some housewarming favors from friends, and groceries, we haven't bought a thing!
Stay tuned if you want to see more of what we get up to in our new digs!

If you’re new around here, I make videos about minimalism, living with what I consider a small wardrobe (for the year; not a capsule wardrobe), decluttering, and occasionally a little bit of personal finance. …If you’re not buying stuff, you suddenly have a lot more money on your hands, so I think it makes sense as the next natural step after minimalism. Some of my most watched videos include several of my 30 day minimalism game videos, my wardrobe declutters, and my house tour. This journey began in my closet, so check out my very first video in which I decluttered my wardrobe from 118 items to 50 if you need a little wardrobe motivation. Thanks for stopping by!
