This is my FIRST EVER attempt at drawing with charcoal (and my first drawing in over a month). It's definitely different than graphite, but I love the really dark tones that you can get from it.
Personal thoughts: I like the way it turned out for my first time, but I am not completely satisfied. It doesn't look exactly like the reference model (which is why I didn't post the reference picture in the beginning of he video), but I do like how it looks as a drawing.
