VW T7 Sound Deadening Upgrade! Doors & Wheel Arches Fully Treated
In this video, we've treated the doors on this VW T7 through our full Stages 1–4 sound deadening process, helping to reduce unwanted road noise, vibrations and resonance in the van.
This includes Comfort Mat 2.5mm Vespa on the window regulator panel (Stage 1) and outer door panel (Stage 2), Comfort Mat 15mm Soft Wave on the plastic door cards (Stage 3), and Comfort Mat 6mm Integra over the top of Stage 2 (Stage 4).
We've also treated the external front wheel arches, raising the van, removing the front wheels and inner arch linings, and thoroughly cleaning the area before heating and applying the Comfort Mat 2.5mm Vespa sound deadening. This was then covered with Comfort Mat 8mm Blockshot for additional noise reduction from the road and tyres.
The result is a significantly quieter and more comfortable cabin, making both long and short journeys that little bit more enjoyable!
