Hello, friends. Won't you join me for a q u i e t stroll in the V̴̡̞̝̤͈̓̏̆̎̈́͌̀̌̊͜ͅọ̶̪̟̟̬͙̠̔́̒͜͜͠i̵̬̣͓̚ͅḍ̴̼́̋͜?
Like most of my weird levels, this so far has been made in a single manic episode. I have not slept in days. These kinds of entities are heavily inspired by what I do see when I dream. All of the absurd horror ramblings are my own as well. For a while I've been wanting to take a decent break from video games in general, so likely after I finish this I will become dormant again. Anyway, I hope this level is at least somewhat interesting and brings a smile to your faces. After all, the smilers want you to smile too!
The "monologue" (I can't think of the right term for now) I made:
We sought order—a refuge from the chaos that birthed us. We longed for infinity, believing it would bring endless abundance, endless joy. But we were fools. We did not understand the nature of such things.
Eternal life is not life at all.
We wished to ascend, yet the cosmos did not welcome us. In our pursuit of escape, we drew the gaze of something vast, something patient. We fled from the void, only to find ourselves drawn ever deeper into its grasp. The infinite calls to us—it always has. It is in our nature to reach, to struggle, to believe we matter.
But in the span of eternity, we are nothing. Soon, we will vanish—erased, forgotten, without even a whisper of our existence beyond the collapsing edge of an event horizon. This is our fate.
There is no meaning in this fragile, transient flicker we call life. There never was. There never will be. To cling to it, to fight for it, is an affront to the endless dark.
Don't you see? It has already claimed you.
Accept the embrace of the void. It comes sooner than you think.
Come. Join the infinite. It is the only place you were ever meant to be.

The full level is around 4 minutes and 15 seconds long. I'm trying to make something interesting and unique rather than polished and rate worthy. I will most likely have the level finished very soon!
Once it is done, I will likely make a video going over all of the symbolism I put into the level. Artistic expression is fun :)
