We're back for a hair transformation video!!
Well actually today's video is a little bit of everything... we're doing my at-home hair color, getting ready for Miami, and having a little life chat while we do it 💕
In this video I'm showing you exactly how I dye my hair at home to get a rich warm chestnut brunette, and I'm also sharing the new formula I've been using to get 100% grey coverage on my roots. If you've been struggling to cover stubborn greys at home, I think you're going to love this little update to my routine!
While my color develops, we're also catching up on life. This year has really been a transitional period in my life. Your 30's can be so confusing cause we have this pressure that we need to have everything figured out, but I'm coming to terms with the fact that it's ok if I don't. I'm just trusting life right now and we will see what happens!

Tips for Achieving Great Grey Coverage:
If you're trying to cover stubborn grey roots, I've had amazing results using Igora Royal 5-600 mixed with 20-volume developer. The 5-600 is part of Igora Royal's natural extra range, which is specifically formulated with a higher concentration of natural pigments to improve grey coverage while still giving beautiful richness and depth.
I always use 20-volume developer on my roots because it provides enough lift for the color to fully develop and allows the pigment to penetrate the hair shaft more effectively than a lower-volume developer. Once my roots are covered, I refresh the rest of my hair with my usual warm chestnut formula to keep the color looking shiny, dimensional and natural.
