Description
So on the official Virtua Fighter Community Discord it was revealed that Taka Arashi who is the Virtua Fighter resident Sumo Wrestler, is "retired" and thus not returning as a playable character in VF Crossroads. Now this can mean a lot of things, not the least of which is Taka was always sorta hated as the games most controversial scrub killer character due to his unique mechanics. Basically he's too fat to be fun to fight, and with changes to the gameplay we know this sorta lines up with the established thought that the weight system might be gone entirely. Will he be "new generation"-ified and replaced by a sexy young girl? Hardly the first time its been done in fighting games lets talk about it!
0:00 - Taka, too fat to live
9:43 - The New Sumo Generation?
