Finally i can post my lil directors cut of Papilion Rising - Still and Electro Music video!
Once Paul Cless asked me if I could shoot 2 of his music videos for #papilionrising.
I said sure things but on 2 condition:
I wanna shoot on #arriflex35 #zeiss #mkIII (actually anamorph due to budget=0=impossible ) and 2. i will collect some shots for my next showreel and editing a lil short film.
So the game begins! We shot 2 musicvideos in 2 days (literally 45h....)
i died 2-3 times.
The smallest crew i've ever had my best buddy Khoa Huynh credits ends here!
Guys I am telling you, that was an adventure!
I havent seen the location before and I had to make quick decision for all lighting setups for each scene in between 5-10min otherwise we haven't had made it!!
Funny enough, all i thought about was to get more footage for my showreel 😂😂😂
after all it was a great learning curve for me!
