United Airlines makes history today on the 1st of May 2026 as the first airline in the history of Split Airport to operate a transatlantic flight service from USA to Split, Croatia. The route from Newark Liberty International Airport will be served by a Boeing 767-300ER three times a week. The new service is expected to operate until early September 2026. Flight number UA305 might be an interesting number given that Split was established in the year 305 A.D.
