Description
Cancer Conversations is an evidence-based educational program that provides basic information about different types of cancer, cancer treatment options, cultural beliefs about cancer, how to navigate communication with healthcare providers, and more. Cancer Conversations also incorporates community voices by highlighting the experiences of a cancer patient, survivor, or caregiver.
This conversation is focused on learning about breast cancer, including when to get screened, risk factors, and common signs and symptoms. We'll also discuss healthy lifestyle choices that may help reduce cancer risk and hear personal stories from individuals with lived experience of breast cancer.
