In this video, it is explained what the correct Quranic and Prophetic approach is for promoting interfaith harmony and inviting non Muslims to Islam. The video provides a scholarly answer to the important question of whether, in a joint gathering, non Muslims can be encouraged to invoke the “Creator of the Universe” according to their own understanding. It is also highlighted that, according to Surah Luqman in the Quran, even the polytheists of Makkah recognized a supreme Being, Allah, as the Creator of the universe, above all idols. The duty of a caller to religion is to clarify this vague understanding and bring them closer to the truth. Furthermore, the video discusses inspirational incidents from the life of the Prophet ﷺ that can serve as examples for dialogue today, such as allowing the Christian delegation from Najran to perform worship in the Prophet’s Mosque according to their own practice. Through the event of Abu Sufyan, it is also shown that the Prophet ﷺ prayed for relief from famine for enemies even during times of war, demonstrating that Islam is not only for Muslims but is a religion of “mercy for the worlds” (Rahmat al Alameen).
اس ویڈیو میں یہ بیان کیا گیا ہے کہ بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کے فروغ اور غیر مسلموں کو دعوتِ دین دینے کا درست قرآنی اور نبوی طریقہ کار کیا ہے۔ ویڈیو میں اس اہم سوال کا علمی جواب دیا گیا ہے کہ کیا کسی مشترکہ اجتماع میں غیر مسلموں کو ان کے اپنے تصور کے مطابق 'خالقِ کائنات' کو پکارنے کی ترغیب دی جا سکتی ہے؟ اس ویڈیو میں یہ بھی بتایا گیا ہے کہ قرآنِ مجید کی سورہ لقمان کی روشنی میں مشرکینِ مکہ بھی تمام بتوں سے بالاتر ایک 'بالائی ہستی' یعنی اللہ کو کائنات کا خالق تسلیم کرتے تھے اور ایک داعیِ دین کا کام اسی دھندلے تصور کو واضح کر کے انہیں حق کے قریب لانا ہے۔ مزید برآں، اس گفتگو میں سیرتِ طیبہ ﷺ کے وہ ایمان افروز واقعات بیان کیے گئے ہیں جو آج کے دور میں مکالمے کی بنیاد بن سکتے ہیں جیسے نجران کے عیسائی وفد کو مسجدِ نبوی میں ان کے اپنے طریقے پر عبادت کرنے کی اجازت دینا۔ ویڈیو میں ابوسفیان کے واقعے کے ذریعے یہ بھی واضح کیا گیا ہے کہ حضور ﷺ نے حالتِ جنگ میں بھی دشمنوں کے لیے قحط سے نجات کی دعا فرمائی جو اس بات کی دلیل ہے کہ اسلام صرف مسلمانوں کے لیے نہیں بلکہ 'رحمت اللعالمین' کا دین ہے۔
