Description
Patients at University Hospitals are facing longer phone wait times due to a cybersecurity incident that has disrupted digital services, including online scheduling and MyChart, for over two weeks. The incident has forced more patients to call by phone to schedule appointments, communicate with doctors, and access other services, resulting in reported wait times of 20 to 30 minutes. University Hospitals says it is aware of the situation and is working to get more people to handle the increased call volume. All hospitals, emergency departments, and doctors' offices remain open and fully operational, and most appointments and procedures are continuing as scheduled.
