Uges Limbu, Born & raised in Singapore, but pure Nepalese from heart. At a young age, after coming across Punk music from the local elder brothers from the Singapore Gurkha Camp. community, listening to the Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash & GreenDay.
By 1998, was a professional tour drummer in a hardcore punk band called “The uncivilized”. Recorded 12, 2 min. Original songs in 1 take within 30 mins. Was a limited cassette & cd release.
Then in 2001, formed a pop punk band called 1 year older with a friends , as a drummer & vocalist.

Recorded a Total of 8 songs in the span of 2 years. We had all chartbuster songs within the top 50 range out of 4.5 million songs, also that’s when we got an offer to record an album & tour the world from a big company interscope records. For personal reasons, end up rejecting the deal.
By 2003, bid farewell to singapore & arrived in New York City. Formed Normal Academic, Nepali punk rock band, vocals & guitarist ( song writer ) at this time, aside punk rock , released some home recording pop punk stuffs as well like Gahiro Akha, punk ko naam ma kalank, & even mellow stuffs like Parkhi rakhechu which actually became huge hits at that time, which was around 2005-2009 & then composing more Modern pop punk sounding hits like Gahiro Akha 2 etc.
last normal academic album was in 2017 called destination Nowhere.
