U2 Spyplane IMPRESSIVE STEEP TAKEOFF! 😯

Description

The Lockheed U-2 spy plane has quite an unusual takeoff. From the unusual preparation involving cars following the spyplane onto the runway, to the USAF (U.S Air Force) personnel running around the aircraft as it waits on the runway, removing various 'remove before flight' items from the plane. Then there's the stabilising wheels on each wing supporting the aircraft to ensure it doesn't topple over, which then fall off as the plane accelerates along the runway and the wings begin to generate lift. Of course there's the incredible noise too, and above all, the unbelievable, near-vertical takeoff climb! 😲 All of this drama adds up to quite the performance and spectacle. 😃 Enjoy this Shorts! 🙏 🛫😍

The aircraft registration is 68-10329 and it was operating under callsign "DRAGON21". 📻 It was departing to fly back to Beale AFB, California, USA.

This is the Lockheed U-2, an American single-engine, high altitude reconnaissance aircraft operated by the U.S Air Force.
