Description
Thrift w. Me Fall Trends - vintage staple pieces, leather trench coat, suede vest and soft oversized knits that I will keep forever. All from American Cancer Society Discovery Shop! .ad
*I say "trends" mostly for SEO hehe*
PSA: I think trend cycles are moving so fast that in my opinion, they blur together. i can't keep up, and i don't really want to. I believe that if a piece speaks to you, no matter if it's "on trend" or not, it won't matter a year from now, and it will still spark that thrifter joy like when you first found it. i strongly dislike how these trends promote a ton of overconsumption to keep up with the Joneses,' and if the outfit is copied and pasted off pinterest, it lacks individuality. It's important that when we thrift, we choose gems that spark that heart-racing thrifter joy in us, making us want to treasure it forever or pass it down to a loved one to treasure.
All this to say, I mean it with my whole heart that every piece that I thrift from American Cancer Society is a "bury me in it" kind of treasure and I hope you find yourself a treasure from them too!
